Little Trouble Girl is, once again, a collection directly inspired by music.
Always looking back to the past, for the Spring/Summer 2007 collection Celia Marco evokes alternative movements from the beginning of the 80's to the first 90's, such as grunge, new wave and power pop.
But, beyond nostalgia for an era or a particular influence, this season Celia Marco finds inspiration in record covers from groups like Sonic Youth, The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins...
The vibrating colours of "Washing Machine" are recreated in patent; the precious pastel shades of "Boys Don't Cry" get real in delicate leather; the colour saturation of "Siamese Dream" becomes palpable in soft suede...

With Celia Marco's collections it happens like with the greatest names in the history of rock: we can link each of them to a specific feeling or emotion.

When rock'n'roll is mentioned, we all think of legendary stars like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis or Gene Vincent.
With Be-Bop-A-Lula, Celia Marco has portrayed the style of those legends wisely updated with new first class materials, and, of course, the designer's classics: rounded toes, small platforms, ankle boots and flats, suede, patent, fabrics like jeans, round-tooth...
A solitary bar in the middle of nowhere, by the Mexican border. Wood and soil. A place where you can have some "tequilas". The "Desperados" line has been inspired by this atmosphere of "low passions", where "stiletto" and cowboy boots are the stars.
These shoes are perfect for a Rocker concert
This is what Celia Marco answers when they ask her about the inspiration that created the "Lonely Cadillac" line. There is no doubt the collection pays a tribute to this music genre, always loved by the designer.
Celia Marco puts the summer to our feet with the special flavour of the fifties. A daring and fresh collection with three lines, each one with own personality: 50's Hot Dog, Smiley and Pretty Things.
